Pink Lady Cricket – Regensburg | 27 September 2026

Cricket with a purpose. A game played for hope.

On 27 September 2026, Regensburg hosted the Pink Lady Cricket Charity Tournament, bringing together women cricketers, supporters and the local community under the powerful message “Together Stronger Against Breast Cancer.” The annual tournament uses the spirit of cricket to raise awareness about breast cancer, encourage early detection, and support people affected by the disease. Donations from the event support projects for breast-cancer patients at Caritas Krankenhaus St. Josef Regensburg.

I had the privilege of capturing some of the strength, smiles, teamwork, determination and beautiful moments that made this event so meaningful.

For Blitzclick.de, it was an opportunity to preserve moments from a day where sport, solidarity and community came together for a cause greater than the game.

Every run. Every wicket. Every smile. Every moment for a cause.
